Progress!

After my first post, the holidays rushed in and now that 2010 has arrived and the cold that has been consuming my energy seems to be letting up, I am ready to get into my crafts. During the holidays I did dedicate time to try out new recipes which included peanut butter doggie biscuits (a huge hit for holidays gifts), homemade Hostess chocolate cupcakes, Candy Cane Kisses cookies, and chocolate enrobed Oreos. I have all the recipes if you are interested in trying any on your own. Photos to follow.

The Beginning

I will admit this blog has been inspired partly by my recent viewing of Julie and Julia and the attempt to "find myself" and what I would like to be when I grow up.

Currently in Massachusetts 1 in 10 people are unemployed and I fall within that 10%. As a workaholic, this spurred a huge wave of panic inside but now I am attempting to embrace the horrific job market and take the time to hone my skills in print and web advertisements as well as crafty projects. I would love to get into jewelry making and this blog will focus on my adventure through different mediums!
